Who We Are

At Stonesfield Primary School, we’re proud to have an active and welcoming PTA – though we prefer to go by Friends of Stonesfield School (FoSS). We believe this name better reflects our friendly and inclusive spirit. You don’t need to have a child at the school to get involved – just bring your enthusiasm, passion, and willingness to support our school community!

Meet the Team

This year’s FoSS committee is a small but dedicated group, supported by a wonderful network of volunteers who work behind the scenes to make great things happen.

Together, we organise a variety of exciting events throughout the year – from cake sales to fairs, disco’s to curry nights. Our aim is to raise much-needed funds to support Stonesfield Primary School by helping to purchase valuable resources and enhance the school experience for all children.

Every time you attend an event or buy a slice of cake, you’re making a difference. Your support adds real value to the life and learning of our pupils.

Swing into Action – Help Us Rebuild Our Playground

If you’re able to, please consider supporting our campaign to fund a brand-new playground.

At Stonesfield Primary School, there is an urgent need to replace our existing playground equipment and play tower, which have deteriorated below ground level and are no longer safe to use. We have spoken with our pupils to understand what they would love to see in a new space, and their ideas are helping us to redesign and rebuild a playground that everyone can enjoy.

Friends of Stonesfield School (FoSS) is a registered charity run by a committed group of parents and volunteers, working to support education and enrichment for all pupils at Stonesfield Primary School. We believe that play is an essential part of learning. It plays a vital role in children’s cognitive, emotional, social and physical development, while also supporting their overall well-being. Outdoor play, in particular, helps to build motor skills, strength and coordination.
