Who we are:
Stonesfield Primary School has a PTA. We like to be called Friends of Stonesfield School (FoSS) as we feel this makes it friendlier and open to everyone. You do not have to have a child at school to join us, just enthusiasm and drive/passion to help the school.
This years team are small and dedicated committee. Beyond this are numerous other people who help behind the scenes and make things happen.
Between us we organise exciting events throughout the year. We do this in order to raise much needed and valuable funds for the school purchase items. Foss exists to support the life and work of the school. So each time you buy a cake, or attend an event YOU are really adding value to the children and the school.
We hold meetings once a month (please see the school calendar for the date of the next meeting). Please feel free to come along and join in, we would love to meet you.
This year’s committee consists of the following people:
Mrs Fi McGregor
Mrs Julia Reynolds
Mrs Jane O’Gorman
Dr. Julie Curran
Mrs Rhianna Griffiths
Mr Steve Davies
Mrs Shirley Mee
Mrs Caroline Sutton
What we are raising money for:
We are currently fundraising to improve the school’s IT Resources.
To help promote communication between the committee and the parents/carers and vice a versa, we have established Class Reps for each class. They will send you up to date communications about what is happening FOSS wise. If you would like to be on the email tree, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Keep up to date with us:
We have also set up a FoSS Facebook page. This is where we publish all of the latest events and news and reviews. We also include updates to the fundraising efforts.
